PHASE II WORK COMPLETE

Except for a few miscellaneous items and new signage, Phase II is complete just in time to enjoy the rest of the summer weather on the steps at the 4th & Commerce entrance. Be on the lookout for when the fence comes down!
New landscaping has been planted around the new stair seating
Camaru wood on the stairs has been fully installed and stained
Lighting has been placed underneath the stair seating
Phase III is set to start Q4 2020.

Pouring concrete seemed to be the main item on the to do list for crews this month.
Planters at both entrances have been poured, sealed and waterproofed
Bench seating at the 4th & Commerce entrance has been poured, foam has been installed, and waterproofed
Camaru wood is slowly being installed along the bench seating on-site and looks GREAT
Draining, irrigation and electrical has all been ran and installed for the planters
Now that planters have been set, vault painting was able to be finalized and finished
Perforated metal for both the Alley and 4th & Commerce planters are being scanned and fabricated to be installed in July

With significant outdoor work to be done, good weather was very important. Although there was more rain than anticipated, crews took full advantage of the sunny days - completing Phase I rollover work and really preparing the site for a busy June.
One Nashville’s garage got a fresh coat of paint after power washing occurred in April
Planters have been filled at the main entrance to the building and along the garage
Final touches were put on the Alley work, with a neon sign at the Commerce St entrance, and painting and stamping the alleyway
Other painting around the site included giving the NES vault a pop of color
Rebar was finally removed from the old 4th & Commerce entrance, with crews able to start putting up the walls for the stairs and seating before the end of the month

APRIL 2020
Despite the current environment, construction for Phase II kicked off on time this month and crews have been busy prepping the site for demolition. A few small projects leftover from Phase I have been completed as well.
Building signage was installed, further highlighting the new amenities completed in Phase I
Landscaping around the building has improved to make way for improved irrigation systems
The stairs at the 4th & Commerce entrance have been completely demo’d
